Mid 2018 I got offered the opportunity to take over the Academie for Coaching en Counselling, together with my sister Paulien. We recognised the quality of the programmes and the teachers and the huge potential of the institute, so we decided to take the leap and revitalise the ACC. Through the academy I can fulfil my mission to help people become aware of their life mission and talents, in order to create a better world for themselves and others.

As a little girl I already knew my goal in life: I was going to make the world a better place! People around me found this quite adorable at the time, but up to this date, I still have the same mission. Over the years I have tried to make a difference in the world in various ways, including development work in Honduras and Nepal. In the meantime I have come to realise that a better world starts with yourself. This may sound like a cliché, but when people become aware of who they are and what they can contribute to society, they are doing the best development work possible. The ACC offers me the opportunity to realise my mission on a much bigger scale. With the academy we guide and educate people to discover their talents and life goals, and to consequently help others do the same. This way, happiness and awareness will spread throughout the world: the ‘pay it forward-effect’.
